We are located in the Galveston / Scholes International Airport terminal, located at 2115 Terminal Drive, Galveston, TX.
Walk inside the main terminal, and if we are not there to greet you, please call us at 409-465-3169. Please be patient as our pilot may be finishing up a ride with another guest!
When the Waco is not flying, it will be parked on the ramp in front of the terminal.
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time. This will allow enough time to meet your pilot and complete a pre-flight briefing.
In the summer, you should be fine with short sleeves and shorts. If the temperatures are in the 70s, you might consider a light jacket and long pants. With temps in the 60s or lower, a jacket and long pants become a necessity.
Thrill enthusiasts should be 46” and taller.
The front cockpit of our Waco can accommodate up to 2 people with a total weight limit of 400 pounds (300lbs for a single rider). That being said, it is somewhat narrow, so 2 people with wide shoulders may not be able to fit comfortably.
Younger riders under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age. Anyone under 18 is required to have a guardian-signed waiver on file.
Our pilots will be watching the weather and making decisions on a case by case basis.
Sometimes, we may encounter a slight delay in the flight or it may be rescheduled to later in the day.
Other times, storms, wind, or low clouds may cause us to need to cancel the flight. In that case, we will be happy to reschedule your flight to another day or provide you with a refund.
Yes, you are welcome to record your flight. Cameras will be limited to smaller models or phones and will need to be physically attached to your body.
We have cell phone lanyards available to borrow.
We also offer the video of your flight, taken from outside the cockpit, available for purchase.
Absolutely! Scholes Field Terminal has an outdoor patio and observation deck perfect for viewing takeoffs and landings, as well as some of the flights.
Inside the terminal, you will find an air-conditioned seating area and vending machines.
The Waco-YMF can accommodate 2 people in the front cockpit, with a total weight not to exceed 400 pounds (300lbs for a single rider).
Our Waco can accommodate up to 400 pounds in the front seat for up to 2 riders (300lbs for a single rider). The entry to the front seat is somewhat small, so anyone with mobility limitations may have difficulty boarding the aircraft. Please call us with any questions.
